Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has provided thousands of books to kids in Flint, Michigan. Since it started in 2017, more than 200-thousand books have been sent. The program mails enrolled kids a book every month from birth to their fifth birthday. Source: M Live


Daisy Hampton is only 12, but she’s already started a nonprofit, “Including You,” and a fundraiser to get laptops to kids in need. Her GoFundMe page, #KidsNeedConnection, has raised more than $15-thousand so far. Through those donations, Daisy has been able to donate 200 laptops to students since the start of the pandemic. A Jamestown, Rhode Island, teen’s act of kindness has grown into a community project to help make sure kids in need have a happy Easter. At age four, Jack Ryan asked his mom if they could help the Easter Bunny and they made and donated eight baskets that first year.
