A 99-year-old World War Two vet from Minnesota has upped the ante in the “walking for charity” trend.  He’s walking 100 miles before his 100th birthday on June 27th. (story)

A seventh-grader has been creating hundreds of 3D-printed face shields and donating them to front line workers. Joshua Runde has used his talent for robotics and money he saved up for the act of kindness. For his good deed, Baskin-Robbins’ Pint-Sized Hero program is donating $5-thousand to the charity of his choice and he wins a year of free ice cream. (story)
