Back in March, a guy in Atlanta launched a program called “Love Sinks In” to set up portable sinks that homeless people could use to help slow the spread of the virus.  It’s now expanded to 11 different cities. (story)


A restaurant in California is feeding healthcare workers on the front lines and getting help from the community to do it. Eight4Nine in Palm Springs started Good Deed Friday, which delivers meals to hospitals and urgent care facilities. People are stepping up to donate and pay for the meals. (story)


A father in Tennessee went all out to recreate a college graduation ceremony for his daughter at home. Torrence Burnsonbuilt a stage in the driveway, decorated it with an official-looking podium and banner and had custom programs printed. His daughter, Gabrielle, was totally surprised by her dad’s creation and loved it. (story)
